The MOT Test Explained

MOT, which refers to the Ministry of Transportation, is an authorised test performed to check if the vehicle has roadworthy standards and does not impact the environment. The rules and regulations followed are under the DVSA (Driver and Vehicle Standard Agency). This test is more likely to be conducted to keep a vehicle updated, both legally and safely.  A comprehensive test is carried out by professional and experienced technicians at an authorised garage. Those vehicles that have completed three years at the date of registration and are generally driven on the road can perform this particular test. Once all the necessary inspections have been completed, the government authorities will provide MOT certification, VT20, which says that your vehicle is legally fit to drive on the road. However, driving without any MOT certification will lead to hefty fines and penalties.  A   MOT Stevenage   test is a physical inspection of the vehicle, in which all major and minor parts are checked.
